Solar Electricity
Cut your electricity bills and reduce your carbon emissions by generating your own green solar power and be paid for every unit of electricity from your own solar PV system.
Solar photovoltaic panels convert free sunlight into useable electricity. The Government has established the Generation Feed-in Tariff and you will be paid by your power supplier for every unit of electricity your system generates for the next 25 years and you can use as much as you want for free.
• Cut the amount of electricity you draw from the grid
• Save money now and avoid grid price rises in the future
• Environmental green power reduces your carbon emissions
• Earn money for home generated electricity for 25 years
• Generate and use your own power
• Investment payback in around 10-12 years
• Finance packages available
Solar Electricity systems – otherwise known as photovoltaic (PV) – use semi-conducting cells to convert sunlight into electricity. There is huge untapped potential in solar electricity and, as the technology gets cheaper whilst gas, electric and oil prices rise, it is an increasingly economic choice in many different projects.
Through RWES, a complete range of the latest systems for retrofit and new build developments and technical off-grid requirements are now available.
Our solar electricity equipment can be integrated into the fabric of a building with minimal maintenance requirements. Our systems can be embedded into architectural glass, made into opaque panels or disguised as tiling and have no moving parts whilst being highly reliable. The equipment can often be cheaper than other prestige building materials, even before counting the value of the electricity generated.
We offer innovative products, working with homeowners, architects and developers to incorporate solar technology into the built environment and offer support and guidance throughout the entire planning and development process
Solar PV systems produce no greenhouse gases. A typical domestic system can save approximately 1.2 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, adding up to almost 30 tonnes over a system’s lifetime.
• You can use solar PV systems for a building with a roof or wall that faces within 90 degrees of south, as long as no other buildings or large trees overshadow it. If the roof surface is in shadow for parts of the day, the output of the system will decrease.
• Solar PV systems come in a variety of shapes and colours, ranging from grey ‘solar tiles’ that look like roof tiles to panels and transparent cells that you can use on conservatories and glass to provide shading as well as generating electricity.
All solar photovoltaic components RWES supplies and installs are designed, manufactured and rigorously tested to the highest standards.
Solar Certification and Module/Inverter Warranty
All SEH solar photovoltaic modules are certified to BS EN 61215:2005 for both quality and performance. Guarantee of material quality 5 years. Guarantee of power rating: 10 years 90% of the rated power, 25 years 80% of the rated power.

Not quite what you need?
We appreciate that some installations will vary with factors that might include orientation of the roof, the geographic location, pipe runs and the hot water demand. We can easily offer upgrades or changes to the standard packages to meet your customer’s requirements.
